
Christine is a former commercial and property lawyer who has worked both in private practice for Clayton Utz and Maddocks and in-house with various Commonwealth entities, including the Grains Research Development Corporation, the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, Airservices Australia, the Australian Electoral Commission, and the Department of Defence.
Christine has advised on a broad range of commercial transactions, including complex procurements, ICT acquisitions, facilities services agreements, IP and commercialisation arrangements, consultancy placements, leasing and licensing arrangements, debt recovery and funding agreements. Christine has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on market and contractual documentation from a procurement policy, legal and probity perspective.
Christine also provided contract management and commercial support to the development of a harmonised civil-military air traffic management system including preparing and negotiating contract variations and supporting dependent construction procurement activities. Christine is also familiar with the ACT government procurement framework and has experience providing advice on internal audit, governance risk and assurance, and probity matters. Christine has a background in econometrics and has previous experience in financial analyses and management accounting. In particular, during her time at Airservices Australia Christine supported financial viability activities and pricing for projects in the capital works program.
